Yamada pumps are applied to thousands of unique applications within numerous industries for which we have taken on the challenge to be successful with each and every one. During some extreme conditions, the air valve can experience spool centering, which causes equalization of pressure behind each diaphragm. As a solution, Yamada proudly introduces Smart Valve Technology (SVT), a retrofit kit available for any NDP-20 through 80 series Yamada pump. The SVT unit is designed to pneumatically activate the air valve, instantly starting the pump operation.</p>

</strong>This is a traditional “float type” system designed for a 5 gallon pail or sump of equal depth. The pump is controlled by an internal float which actuates an air valve. As the liquid level in the sump rises, the pump automatically starts and operates until the liquid level drops below a predetermined level. The LLC-3 sump system cover comes complete with a diaphragm pump from the list below, float assembly (actuator and float ball with stem), filter-regulator gauge assembly, and suction pipe. All components are mounted on a 5 gallon lid and bucket.</p>

Compressed air is introduced to the top section of the pulsation dampener at the same operating pressure of the pump. When the air opereted double diaphragm pump produces a pulse, fluid will enter the in-line dampener. As fluid enters the dampener, the trapped air behind the dampener is compressed. The fluid remains in the dampener until the system pressure returns to normal or when the pump begins another cycle. The fluid is then pushed back into the system piping as the trapped gas expands. The dampener does not restrict fluid flow, nor increase its pressure, but fills the voids and pressure flunctuations created by an air operated double diaphragm pump.<br />

<p>Mount the pulsation dampener as close to the pump as possible. This will allow the pulsation dampener to see as much operation pressure as possible, which will increase pulsation dampener efficiency and effectiveness.</p>
<p>If the pulsation dampener is to be used in a low head application, you may need to add a control valve after the pulsation dampener to restrict flow and increase resistance.</p>
<p>Mount the pulsation dampener in a horizontal position. Vertical positioning is acceptable if you are pumping a clear fluid.		</div>

<p>Yamada&#8217;s AODD pumps are compliant with FDA regulations and are specifically designed for use in the food, pharmaceutical, and cosmetic industries. These pumps are comprised of a series of features including 316 stainless steel wetted components with a passivated satin finish, PTFE-coated air motors, and sanitary clamp fittings. Passivating refers to the process of modifying the surface layer or coating it with a thin inert layer to protect against contamination.</p>
<p>These pumps are also available with FDA compliant elastomers such as Hytrel<sup>®</sup>, EPDM, and PTFE.</p>

These pumps are designed to transfer volatile fluids using durable Hytrel<sup>®</sup> and PTFE elastomers with Aluminum wetted components that have been approved by U.L. The pumps come in two sizes, 3/4&#8243; (NDP-20) and 1&#8243; (NDP-25) port sizes, with flow ranges from 1-46 gallons per minute. The U.L. Code 79 sets the limit for pump discharge pressure at 50 PSI and requires pumping temperatures to remain within the range of –20°F to 125°F.</p>

Positive displacement pumps are used for applications where the flow rate needs to be precisely controlled, and where the fluid being pumped is viscous or has a high solids content.</p>
<p>The Split Manifold pump&#8217;s unique feature is its ability to have multiple inlet and outlet port configurations. This means that the pump can be used to pump or combine two fluids with similar specific gravity, such as antifreeze and water. This feature allows for more efficient and cost-effective pumping, as it eliminates the need for two separate pumps.</p>
<p>For example, a dual suction/single discharge Split Manifold pump could be used to mix two fluids, such as antifreeze and water. In this configuration, the pump would have two suction ports and one discharge port. The pump would draw in equal amounts of antifreeze and water from each suction port, and then combine them before discharging the mixed fluid out of the single discharge port.</p>
