Solenoid valve-operated pneumatic drum pump MPB for single-line, dual-line and progressive lubrication systems
Designed to pump lubricant into a centralized lubrication system, the SKF MPB pump unit is a pneumatic drum pump in which the conventional mechanical air motor valve has been replaced by a solenoid valve. With the right equipment, the MPB pump can be used with flexible plastic lubricant containers. The pump is suitable for lubricant drums weighing 18, 50, or 180 kg.
The advantages of a magnetically controlled air motor include:
- Internal piston reversing; no external signal required
- Lubrication-free air motor
- Fewer mechanical components extend the service life of the air motor
The cover sets for the pump are available in two versions:
- ECO – for use with NLGI class 2 greases
- STA – for use with NLGI class 1 and 2 greases
